The Kansas women's cross country team has received a Public Recognition Award from the NCAA for scoring in the top 10 percent of its sport in the most recent Academic Progress Rate results. Women's cross country is one of seven Jayhawk teams that achieved perfect 1,000 single-year APR scores, tied for the department best since the NCAA began publishing this statistic in 2004.
